Annual Christmas Card Contest

We are sponsoring our annual Christmas Card Design contest.   All Washington County third and fourth grade students are encouraged to participate in our contest.  This year will mark the eleventh year of having amazing Christmas Cards.  As you can see in the above picture, we show the last 9 years of some pretty amazing artists!   Deadline for entry is Monday, December 5th at 4:00p.m.

Participants are asked to use an 8 1/2 x 11 drawing paper.  Also, please include students name, grade, school and teacher on the back.  The artwork must be an original drawing by the student–not a photo copy.  The winning card design will be chosen Friday, December 9th.

The winner of the contest will receive a $100 prize and their school will receive $100 donation for art supplies.  A picture of the winner and their design will be used in hospital publicity photos.

This year we are letting our friends on Facebook decide which Christmas Card will be our winner.  So, be on the lookout December 6th, that’s when voting starts.  Be sure to cast your vote for your favorite card.  By voting you are helping a student and one art class win money and art supplies.  Also, while you’re there be sure to like our Facebook page to stay up to date on current events and news.
